Silver Winds ;; [Chapter 1-/]

[Been working on this for awhile xD]

Chapter 1 : The Earth Scent [Short Chapter]
Aphordites's eyes shuddered as she awoke, but she had no complaint. She got to her paws with a swift swoosh, and then looked to
the brute next to her.. Ares, her mate, and the father of her unborn children. The she-wolf huffed and walked outside of the cramped
den, the fresh and sweet air gliding across her snowy coat like water. Her pure blue eyes, indecating her blindness, shimmered
suddenly as the rays of sun hit them, but she could not feel nor notice it.


Areas awoke, finding that his right side was taken from it's warmth. He huffed and yelled "Aphrodites!" He then heard "Outside!"
from the entrance of the den. He sighed and slowly crawled out of the hot, moist, earth-scented den they called home. He smiled and
gave his mate a big sloppy lick on the cheek and smiled "How are you feeling?"


Aphrodtes huffed and mumbled "Idiot..." She then turned "Im fine, love." She hated when Ares asked her stupid questions like that,
they were so annoying... She rubbed againest his dark brown fur.. or at least thats what he had told her, and smiled as his warm,
almost cinnamon scent intoxicated her nostrils.


Ares smirked at his mate, she cuddled up to him when he acted like an idiot, it was full-proof. He laughed softly, then looked
at her stomach... It was almost perfectly rounded and wider than her shoulders... He knew she had been expecting pups, but
from the looks of it, it may have been alot, he was estimating five at most.


Aphrodites stopped rubbing his shoulder and lied down, yawning "This isn't to bad... Ya know.." Of course she meant the den, pregnancy... Well, that was a screwy deal none the less. She had to carry ARES'S annoying brats everywhere she went for two whole months! She groaned, the smelt the air, and started snuggling up to
Ares again from the coldness of late winter.

So tell me, does Aphrodites hate Ares?

No, but she.. Has a 'distant' relationship from him, and tends to prefer to him as a friend, rather than her mate.

Chapter 2 | This isn't real

Aphrodites looked at Ares, though she could not see him, she had a virtual image ; A hefty brown male with amber eyes. And that was exactly right. She sighed as another kick hit her stomach, BAM. She groaned, then looked down.

Ares kept his smirk, but then said, "You okay? I can leave to go hunting for awhile."

Aphordites laughed a little sarcastically, "That would be great, honey." The last word was hissed, her abdomen seeming to warp, and ripple.

Ares nodded softly, then took off down the trail from their den, to the stream.

Aphordites quickly slipped back in the den, trying to get herself in a reasonable postions, leaned up againest the wall, on her side. She refused to stay relaxed on her side, and look like a idiot. She stopped growling, and this time whimpered, for the first time in her life - she was in pain. It was hard to describe, but it felt like... oh, she couldn't describe it, it was just painful, and on-going, something she didn't like nor had every felt.. This was gonna be a long day.

Ares, a bit worried about Aphordites, was hunting, waiting for a deer or hare to come along so he could bring her back something to maybe help get her mind back on track. He waited there, thinking, completly unaware of Aphordites going into labor back at the den. He sighed, and waited, staying as quiet as possible, only his breathing could be heard to the most sensitive ear.

Back at the den, Aphrodites was whining, groaing, and complaining to herself. This was horrible.. Absoultly horrible. She had not expected it to be like this, all up until now, it had been okay besides the extra weight to her small, lean body. She groaned, then went back to finding another postion of comfort.
